Rejuran

  • Rejuran® is a TGA-approved injectable treatment that contains polynucleotides (PDRN), a substance used in medicine to support skin repair. It is placed just under the skin to help improve overall skin quality, hydration, and texture.

It is commonly used on areas where the skin appears thin, tired, or crepey, such as around the eyes, cheeks, and neck.

  • Rejuran works by supporting the skin’s natural repair processes. Over time, this may help improve skin texture, elasticity, and hydration. It does not change facial shape or volume but instead focuses on improving the condition and quality of the skin itself.

Treatment is performed after a medical consultation to assess suitability and discuss potential risks and side effects. A series of treatments is usually recommended, and results vary between individuals.

  • There can be pain associated with these treatments. It is advised you avoid alcohol and anti-inflammatory medications (including Fish Oil) for 2-3 days prior to your appointment. Taking paracetamol immediately before your appointment can be helpful, and Dr Raj will apply topical numbing creams prior to the treatment.

Following treatment, you may have lumps at the injections sites, and bruising can occur. These lumps can last for up to 3 days. Detailed aftercare information will be provided to you.

  • The cost of treatment depends on the area treated and the number of sessions required. Commonly, the initial treatment is a series of three sessions spread over a period of months. Cosmenon offers savings when you pre-purchase your initial three treatments.

Thereafter, Dr Raj recommends one treatment every six months.
