Skin Rejuvenation

  • Biostimulator treatments involve the use of injectable prescription-only products designed to support skin quality by stimulating physiological processes such as collagen production and tissue hydration.  These treatments may improve skin texture, firmness, and overall skin health rather than to add volume.

Treatment is provided following a medical consultation to assess suitability, individual skin concerns, and potential risks.  Results are gradual, vary between individuals, and are not permanent.

As with all injectable medical procedures, biostimulator treatments carry potential risks and side effects, which will be discussed prior to treatment.  All procedures are performed by Cosmenon in accordance with Australian regulatory standards.

  • There can be pain associated with these treatments. It is advised you avoid alcohol and anti-inflammatory medications (including Fish Oil) for 2-3 days prior to your appointment. Taking paracetamol immediately before your appointment can be helpful, and Dr Raj will apply topical numbing creams prior to the treatment.

Following treatment, you may have lumps at the injections sites, and bruising can occur. These lumps can last for up to 3 days. Detailed aftercare information will be provided to you.

  • The cost of treatment depends on the area treated and the number of sessions required. Commonly, the initial treatment is a series of three sessions spread over a period of months. As this is a prescription-only medical treatment, pricing is provided following a consultation with the treating practitioner.
